Event description
In light of the foregoing, the African Commission’s Special Rapporteur on Refugees, Asylum Seekers, Internally Displaced Persons and Migrants in Africa, together with Amnesty International, the Network of African National Human Rights Institutions (NANRHI) and the Southern Africa Resource Watch (SARW), will host a side event during the 85th Ordinary Session of the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights in Banjul, The Gambia.
The event will explore how the Kampala Convention can serve as a human rights safeguard in energy transition projects across Africa.
